Oh, it might be cross-domain cookie weirdness (these itch games are on a slightly different domain, and I wonder if they can't access the cookies or something due to a weird security setting)
Such a brilliant new take on an idle game...my only notes would be to have the extractors snap to the element grid, sometimes it can be very picky as to where you put them and cant always get 4 in 1 square without shuffling everything around a little bit, and also a total amount of atoms on the main game page.

The game didn't save for me either...
Do you see save button in red and alert message when hover it ?
Perhaps you need to enable cookies in your browser.
The button is red, but I don't have this issue for other games though, its' weird.

Either way, saves seem to work for me!

Snap extractors: "shift key".
Total amount: mouse hover top bar (blue) buttons.
